Our company has doubled in size yet we have not updated our HR systems. Where do we start?

HR Service Team rolled out a new payroll, time tracking, and HR Management system. The first thing we did was determine what systems were in place and how they interacted to other systems. Next, we held several HR group meetings to discover the HR team’s systems wish list. On-site vendor meetings were held and a HR team survey delivered to find best liked vendors. A ROI (return on investment) was developed and the VP of HR based on everyone’s feedback picked the final systems. Implementation is another complete story!

how do we train employees on using a new system?

Training employees on a new system can be complex. HR Service Team uses webinar tools, paper tools, and hands-on training. There is a software tool called, “Snag-It.” This powerful tool allowed us to take pictures of the end user steps to enhance learning. Depending on your employees, you may want to use one or all of the above methods.
